The Headmaster's Room is as stately as its' name suggests. Located upstairs in the Greek Revival section of the inn, this room feels like sinking back to a simpler time. Heartpine flooring, thick braid wool Capel rugs, a Southern antique walnut dresser are some of the pieces that comprise this handsome room.
Snuggle under the duvet while resting in the queen size pencil-post bed. Your comfort is ensured with 100 % cotton bedding, crisp white sheets, robes for lounging and Christina's homemade cookies. Two wingback chairs offer the perfect spots for reading and reconnecting by the glow of your gas fireplace. But do not feel guilty if your gaze wanders out one of the four large windows, with majestic trees, grazing cows and distant silos it is easy to relax and absorb the broad sweeping view.
A large sunny bathroom adjoins the Headmasters' Room. There is a shower/ antique clawfoot bathtub for soaking, as in all the rooms thick towels are standard.
